Where Are They Now: The Jersey Shore Cast

Few shows, let alone reality shows, ever have a cultural chokehold the way that Jersey Shore did. It’s been over 16 years since the first episode aired. It’s been that long, yet many of us remember hearing our first “CABS HERE!” like it was yesterday. With 8 seasons and multiple spinoff series, there is no denying how loved this chaotic cast has been. We’ve gone from nights out at the club to building families. So, in honor of the latest season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, we wanted to see where the cast of Jersey Shore is now and what they’ve been up to.

Snooki

Nicole Polizzi, better known as Snooki, charmed audiences from her very first appearance. Standing at a whopping 4 feet 8 inches, she was a pint-sized phenomenon. Beyond just being on The Shore she has captured our hearts in an impressive range of content. From competing in season 17 of Dancing with the Stars, to the Cake Boss, and even hosting WWE Monday Night Raw matches, it’s clear that Snooki has been adored across genres. Since then, life for our favourite petite powerhouse has changed a lot. She welcomed her first child, with husband Jionni LaValle, in August 2012 and the couple’s second in October of 2016. Now life’s a lot simpler for Snooks.

JWoww

If you were in high school during the glory days of Jersey Shore and none of your friends said they were watching just to see the iconic Jenni Farley, then your friends were liars. Outside of the show, JWoww has mostly expanded into beauty, fashion and lifestyle branding. However, after the birth of her two children, and the diagnosis of her son, she has become an advocate. Specifically for autism, where she has been working to raise understanding and awareness.

Pauly D

Paul Michael DelVecchio Jr, or as we know him, DJ Pauly D! (the exclamation point is important since no one has ever whispered that name) was unforgettable. As one-half of our favourite bromance, Pauly was always getting into some kind of shenanigans. Since his first appearance on our screens, he has dedicated himself to his DJ career. In 2011, he received a 3-record deal with 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records and G-Note Records. With major tours and Las Vegas residencies under his belt, it’s clear that his passion for music isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

The Situation

Michael Paul Sorrentino, the man, the myth, the legend, The Situation. Since we first met the lovable partyboy, he held a special place in audiences hearts. However, life looks a lot different for Michael than it did when we first met him. After a period of difficulty and trouble, he realized that the lifestyle he was leading wasn’t sustainable and took it upon himself to turn his life around. After a long and public recovery journey from substance addiction, he has rediscovered himself. Now a public speaker, he promotes sobriety, fitness, and family life. It’s hard not to be proud of all he’s done.

Vinny Guadagnino

The other half of our favourite bromance to Pauly D, the two were inseparable. It almost boggles the mind to think of Vinny and Pauly as separate people, but since the show, they’ve had very different careers. Vinny primarily focused on comedy, hosting and entertainment work, where that sharp and witty personality shined. Additionally, he’s become closely tied to both keto dieting and the fitness community, even putting out his own cookbook. Expect to see a lot more of him on your screens.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro

Though much of his time in the earlier seasons was rife with relationship struggles, Ronnie never failed to wear that heart on his sleeve. Unfortunately, these struggles followed him beyond the show. Having battled mental health issues and substance abuse in the past, Ronnie now puts most of his focus on fitness branding and recovery efforts.

Deena Nicole Cortese

Deena, like Snooki, was a tiny tour de force. After joining the show later on, she quickly ingratiated herself in our hearts, showing us that big personality can come in small packaging. Outside of the show she has worked to build up a strong family and parenting brand. In 2017, she married her husband, Christopher, and has since had two sons.

Sammi Sweetheart

Sammi Giancola went a slightly different route than the rest of her castmates. After finding the limelight and the relationship drama that plagued her on the show to be too burdensome, she stepped away earlier. Instead, she focused on her boutique fashion and lifestyle brand. She built a much quieter life for herself but returned to the show years later a more mature presence.

Angelina Pivarnick

Although she left early in the franchise, Angelina always made an impact. Outside of the show her life is just as exciting, not because of TV drama, but because of her career. Angelina has been working as an emergency medical technician for the FDNY, so even offscreen there is no shortage of excitement. More recently, as of May, she announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
