Lauren Ash

Lauren is an actress and musician who most recently starred in the ABC series Not Dead Yet alongside Gina Rodriguez and Brad Garrett, and currently hosts Halloween Bakeshop and Holiday Bakeshop on Canada’s Flavour Network. Lauren is best known for starring as Dina, Cloud 9’s resident assistant manager, on NBC’s comedy Superstore. She was previously seen playing Hortense on the Comedy Central series Another Period and also co-starred with Rebel Wilson as Marika on ABC’s Super Fun Night, which won the People’s Choice Award for Best New Comedy Series. On the film side, Lauren appeared in Netflix’s Family Switch starring Jennifer Garner and Ed Helms. She also had a feature role opposite Kevin James in Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2. Other film and TV credits include Nora From Queens (Awkwafina), The Disaster Artist (James Franco), and Lars and the Real Girl (Ryan Gosling). In the animation world, she starred as the iconic Diane Dunbrowski on Netflix’s Chicago Party Aunt, currently stars on Disney’s Kiff as Beryl Chatterly and played fan favourite Scorpia on Netflix’s She Ra and the Princess of Power.

Hailing from Toronto, Lauren is an alumna of the Second City Toronto and Chicago mainstages and is one of only four Canadians ever chosen to perform on the Chicago stage. She has earned six wins in various categories at the Canadian Comedy Awards and has been nominated for Canadian Comedy Person of the Year twice. She was nominated for an ACTRA Award for her performance in the film Dirty Singles and was the winner of a Canadian Screen Award for a guest-starring role on the CTV sitcom Spun Out. Other film/tv credits include American Dad, Scare Tactics, Lost Girl, The Ron James Show, Call Me Fitz, and Bomb Girls. After starting a music career in 2023, Lauren is also currently working on her debut album which will be released in fall 2025.
