Season 51 of Saturday Night Live has been a banger, with tons of memorable guest stars, musical acts and sketches. We’re not always home (or awake) to catch the Saturday sketch comedy staple, but thanks to STACKTV we haven’t missed an episode all season long.
From new members Ashley Padilla and Andrew Dismukes slaying it and Bowen Yang’s final few performances, to the return of MacGruber, Canadian appearances and Ariana Grande’s always entertaining impressions, this has been a season to watch. Want to revisit some of our favourite moments or see what you’re missing out on? Keep scrolling for the top 10 SNL moments of the season so far.
Bad Bunny loves KPop Demon Hunters
The craze over KPop Demon Hunters may have died down over the past few months, but Bad Bunny definitely didn’t get the memo in this SNL sketch. Here, his character is downright obsessed with the “true story” and is upset that his friends aren’t understanding why it’s so important. Until the story takes a turn, that is, and Bowen Yang proves why we should all be worried about our souls.

Sabrina Carpenter sings Domingo
We love us a good recurring gag and the Domingo musical sketches are pure gold. They revolve around a group of girlfriends serenading their friend Kelsey (Chloe Fineman), who cheated on her husband Matt (Dismukes) with a guy named Domingo (Marcello Hernández). We especially love when Sabrina Carpenter gets involved, as she does on this birthday trip rendition that’s completely off-key and funny as heck.

Glen Powell bobs it
Glen Powell may be known for his action flicks, like The Running Man and Top Gun: Maverick. But he takes army to a whole new level in this ridiculous but hilarious sketch about the Slay Division. The entire bit is about the power of bob haircuts, but things take an even wilder turn when bangs get involved.

Finn Wolfhard does Heated Wizardry
If Harry Potter fan fiction were a thing, it would probably look something like this Heated Wizardry sketch that solidifies Finn Wolfhard’s place in our hearts. Here, he sheds his Stranger Things persona for a confident wizard in love, with plenty of references to Heated Rivalry and Harry Potter to keep us entertained throughout the entire thing.
@stacktv This fanfic definitely exists somewhere 👀 Stream #SNL now on STACKTV #FinnWolfhard #JasonMomoa ♬ original sound – STACKTV
Connor Storrie skates it up
Speaking of Heated Rivalry, star Connor Storrie hosted SNL in February with a slew of hilarious sketches, from an injured stripper to a monologue involving Olympic hockey players. One of our favourite moments is this proposal-breakup scene in which a couple tries to figure out their lives while a group of guys have the time of their lives skating behind them. And, just when it can’t get any better, Connor’s co-star, Hudson Williams, joins them.
@stacktv We love seeing two Canadian icons in the same sketch 🙂↕️ #HudsonWilliams #VeronikaSlowikowska ♬ original sound – STACKTV
Ariana Grande’s Elf on the Shelf
If you think about it, your Elf on the Shelf goes through a lot during a child’s Christmas years. One of the SNL writers certainly thought about it, and the result is this group therapy sketch featuring Ariana Grande and others as elves going through hard times. From new cats and frat houses to getting lost in between the couch cushions, these are just some of their stories…

Nikki Glaser gifts magical pinwheels
Are pinwheels really that great a gift? If you’re two magical creatures in a child’s fantasy who don’t know how to pronounce a hard “A” they are. Nikki Glaser fronts this chuckle-worthy sketch, in which she gifts pinwheels to wonder-filled characters played by Mikey Day and Jeremy Culhane. The result is surprisingly funny, and we can see this one being a recurring sketch in the future.
@stacktv Hear me out: pinwheels are worth the hype. Stream #SNL ♬ original sound – STACKTV
Melissa McCarthy celebrates Christmas in Yonkers
We don’t know what’s better, the rapport between Melissa McCarthy and Bowen Yang in this mock news report about a Yonkers couple showing off their holiday swag, or the swag itself. The pair never miss a beat and are perfection with their accents and one-liners, and we can only hope they’ll team up again one day for another festive sketch.

Finn Wolfhard dates a guy’s girl
While we only get to hear about the Stranger Things star getting pantsed at a Starbucks, we do get to meet his fictional girlfriend, played by Veronika Slowikowska, who pulled off the gag. Her “guy’s girl” character is a lot, even for the bros, who don’t appreciate her shot-gunning beers and her loud singing. In the end, we can’t stop laughing at Veronika’s take on the things that some guys have been doing (and getting away with) for decades, and that alone makes this sketch a winner.
@stacktv She’s literally just a girl 🤷♀️ Stream #SNL ♬ original sound – STACKTV
Martin Herlihy teaches guys how to end a relationship
We miss the Please Don’t Destroy trio, but luckily Ben Marshall has continued his SNL sketches this season while Martin Herlihy contributes as part of the show’s writing staff. He occasionally appears on-camera as well, like with this giggle-inducing infomercial about a book that promises to teach guys to get their girlfriends to break up with them.
